Infant Program

Our program for infants is designed to meet the individual needs of each child in our care. It is here, at the beginning stages of life where their educational foundation is created and nurtured. Teachers, who have extensive experience in Early Childhood Education, recognize that although tending to the newborns physical needs is an important part of their job, they also have the obligation to stimulate brain neurons waiting to process and take on new information.

Toddlers

In providing a program for toddlers, our highly trained teachers understand that these children learn with their whole bodies. They learn by doing more hands-on activities, manipulating and exploring on their own. Toddlers discover their world on a physical level, so it’s expected they will prefer walking, climbing, carrying objects, dumping or dropping objects to sitting, picking up toys, or playing in a designated area. These large muscle activities are age appropriate for toddlers and crate the center of their learning world.In planning for toddlers, our educators are prepared to be flexible and spontaneous. Because they are active explorers, toddlers are eager to try new things and use materials in new ways. Our understanding teachers will go with the cues of the child and view that as learning, extending it even if it isn’t part of the day’s planned activities.

JUNIOR PRESCHOOL

Our Junior Preschool Program is specifically designed to meet the needs of the “older” toddler and young preschooler. In this stage of development, they are faced with a huge growth experience. It is our job to make this as smooth as possible for each child in our care. As they travel through this stage, they explore and discover the world on a physical level, and as they mature begin to master these skills. Slowly their attention span and level of understanding grows to allow them to process more information, therefore increasing their ability to “learn”.
