About Evergreen Center

Dr. Robert F. Littleton, Jr. founded The Evergreen Center in 1982 as a non-profit, residential school for children and adolescents with autism and severe developmental disabilities. At the Evergreen Center, Dr. Littleton sought to create an integrated learning and living environment with the mission of helping these students achieve their maximum potential. The center uses Applied Behavior Analysis as its cornerstone of instructional technologies to build skills in communication, basic academics, self-care and social interaction. Through this comprehensive approach, the Evergreen Center is committed to providing the best evidenced-based practices available to support its students in transitioning to less restrictive environments and improving their overall quality of life.
