About Anderson Baseball Academy

By pushing athletes just beyond their present level of ability, we can help them reach their fullest potential and achieve their goals. This way, they can experience success and learn new skills without becoming frustrated or overwhelmed. However, if the goal is too far beyond their current capabilities, it may lead to discouragement. On the other hand, if the goal is too easy, they may lack the motivation to reach greater heights. At Anderson Baseball Academy, we strive to personalize each individual’s training plan so that they can reach their highest potential and become the best baseball player they can be. We believe that by pushing each athlete slightly beyond their current level of ability, they can achieve success and learn new skills while still feeling comfortable and confident.

Pitching/Hitting Drills
Many baseball instructors have developed drills that teach positions over space and time that lead to stiff, robotic, and unathletic swings/deliveries. The drills we utilize at Anderson Baseball Academy teach players movement segments over positions. We believe that teaching the baseball athlete movements leads to more explosiveness, athleticism, and efficiency at the plate and/or on the mound.

Wake Up/Warm Up
Our athletes will always go through an active feet to fingertip warm up which helps them develop their fundamental and skill specific movement patterns. In order to recruit our fast twitch muscle fibers, we first need to wake up the body properly.

Arm Care
Arm care is critical in the preparation of our pitchers to maximize their growth and performance. Arm care serves a dual purpose as both a pre-throwing and post-throwing activity.
