About Inspiring the Child

At Inspiring the Child in Groton MA, we offer creative arts and movement classes for school-age children. Our classes and workshops are offered after school and on the weekends, providing an array of activities such as drawing, painting, cardboard, imagination, and yoga. With these activities, we hope to inspire children and adults alike to explore their own creativity and express themselves. Our goal is to provide a stimulating and encouraging environment for children where they can learn and grow. We believe in cultivating children’s talents and helping them to become confident in themselves and their abilities. We want all participants to feel welcome and inspired to use their own strengths to create something unique and special.

Programs

Feel Good Fridays
Feel Good Fridays are about sharing kindness. Our main projects at the moment are a quilt and some tied fleece blankets that will be donated to a local charity when finished. Each session we will spend some time on those projects by decorating quilt squares, cutting fabric out, tying knots, or sewing by hand or machine with Miss Liz.

Camp Creative
Campers will have a chance each day to create some fun art, move and groove around the farm, meet the animals, and so much more! Each week will have a different activity focus so please check out what we have to offer on the next page for our young friends this summer.

Up Up and Away
We are all STEAMed Up for this camp that will combine science and art! With air, art, and science as our muse, campers will engage in activities that have a science and art twist that relates to the air including paper airplane challenges, egg drops, paint pendulums, rocket launchers, and giant marble runs and so much more. This is the perfect camp for future scientists, artists, builders, tinkers, and engineers.
