Donna Marie Klucevsek started her martial arts journey in 1994 when she attended Self-Defense for Women classes in Wareham, MA. Under the tutelage of Hanshi Walter Parks, Sensei Edward Mello, Shihan Paul Ouelette, and Shihan Mark Hancock, Donna Marie worked hard to further her studies in the martial arts. From 1994 to 2000, she trained in USA Goju Karate with Sensei Shihan Paul Ouelette as her instructor. Donna Marie's hard work and dedication paid off in June of 2000 when she was awarded her Black Belt and the esteemed title of Sempai Donna Marie Shodan. Donna Marie Klucevsek was a determined student when she started her martial arts training in 1994. After attending Self-Defense for Women classes in Wareham, MA, she had four amazing instructors to help her along the way: Hanshi Walter Parks, Sensei Edward Mello, Shihan Paul Ouelette, and Shihan Mark Hancock. For six years, Donna Marie trained in USA Goju Karate with Sensei Shihan Paul Ouelette as her instructor. Her long hours of hard work and dedication paid off in June of 2000 when she was given the title of Sempai Donna Marie Shodan and received her Black Belt. Donna Marie Klucevsek began her martial arts journey in 1994 with Self-Defense for Women classes in Wareham, MA. With four amazing instructors teaching her, Hanshi Walter Parks, Sensei Edward Mello, Shihan Paul Ouelette, and Shihan Mark Hancock, Donna Marie was determined to succeed. She trained in USA Goju Karate from 1994 to 2000 under the direction of Sensei Shihan Paul Ouelette, and in June of 2000 all of her hard work was rewarded when she became Sempai Donna Marie Shodan and earned her Black Belt.

LionCubs

3-5 yrs of age. In this 30 minute class, we will start off with a 5-10 minute fun warm-up and practice exercises that help with balance, coordination, and flexibility. They will learn basic moves such as blocks, kicks, and punches. Skills, games, and/or obstacles to follow at the end of class. Children at this age will learn about respect, responsibility, and using their mind and body in the right way.

6-11 yrs of age. In this 45 minute class, children will learn at a faster pace. After a 10-15 minute warm-up, we will focus on balance, flexibility, and strength training. They learn basic moves such as stances, kicks, punches, and blocking systems. Their techniques will be put together in a combination called “Kata”. They will learn basic Nunchucks and Bo staff.

ADULT KARATE

USA Goju Karate Older Children 12 all through Adults. (10-11yr old GREEN Belts included) The classes meet twice a week for an hour. Typically they include about 15 minutes of stretching, general exercise warming up the body. The remainder of class varies in offering Goju Basic Techniques and strength exercises. Includes Goju’s Hard and Soft Techniques, fast-paced combination techniques, and kata (kata are combinations of movements which can be very complex).
