About Dover Extended Day

At the Dover Extended Day Program, we strive to create a warm and stimulating after-school environment for students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Each day, from Monday to Friday (or Wednesday after Early Release days) from 2:15PM to 6:00PM, our experienced staff provide a variety of activities such as outdoor and gym games, drama, clubs, science, arts and crafts, computer and homework time. We give parents the flexibility of choosing between two pickup times at 5:15PM and 6:00PM. Our nurturing and supportive atmosphere allows children to learn, explore and have fun in a safe and secure environment. We provide the perfect balance of education, recreation and relaxation, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive. The Dover Extended Day Program is committed to providing a stimulating and enjoyable after-school experience for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. With experienced staff, a variety of activities, and two convenient pickup times, we offer a safe and secure environment for kids to explore, learn and have fun.

The Extended Day Program strives to provide your child with an environment within which he/she can safely explore, discover, create, and grow. Children are supervised at all times while participating in program activities to ensure the health and safety of each child. The Extended Day staff recognizes the uniqueness and importance of each child and strives to create experiences wherein each child can learn to make choices, discover new pastimes, and explore new ideas in an environment that is safe, supportive, and creative. We are committed‐ ted to do our best to develop a safe and equitable program for all students.
