About Hunt Recreation Center

The Concord Recreation Commission is a five-member group appointed by the Town Manager. They are dedicated to providing policy guidance to the Recreation Department on programs, operations, and long-term planning. Their work is documented in Agendas and Minutes which are posted after approval. Those seeking to review the documents from 2001 until the present can find them available at the Hunt Building. Those wishing to review the files should contact the Recreation Department. The Concord Recreation Commission works hard to ensure that the Recreation Department is well-equipped with the information and guidance it needs to operate in an efficient and effective manner. They provide the necessary oversight and support for ensuring that the department is running smoothly and providing quality programs.

Before School
This program provides early morning care for kids grades K-5 at each elementary school from 7:30A-9:00A, M-F.

After School Program
This program provides extended day care for students 3:30-6:00P (12:30-6P on early release Wednesdays) The AfterSchool Program has been providing care for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 since 1980.

Early Release Day Program
This program provides care for families needing coverage on the Early Release Wednesday only. the program is for grades k-5 and the children are bussed from their elementary school to the Hunt Recreation Center where the three school combine.
