About Louise Kasak’s Dance Academy

Louise Kasak’s Dance Academy is a beacon of quality dance instruction in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Founded in 1974, the studio has flourished over the years under the leadership of the Kasak Sisters and currently stands as a testament to their hard work and dedication. Louise Kasak presently directs the Academy, which focuses on ensuring that each student’s well-being is taken into consideration every day. Beyond simply teaching the art of dance, the Academy strives to create a healthy and happy environment in which children can cultivate their technical skills while also growing in self-motivation and self-esteem. As a result, many former students have gone on to pursue a career in the field of dance. What’s more, the studio maintains its home-grown atmosphere as each of the teachers are former Kasak dancers, with many of them being the second generation of students at the studio.

Pre-Ballet (ages 3-4)
Dress Requirements: Any color leotard and tights, no loose clothing ballet skirts optional. In the colder month you may wear a sweater or sweatshirt to class over dance clothes until you warm up.

Ballet (ages 7+)
Dress Requirements: Black or Burgundy leotard and pink tights must be worn. Black or Burgundy ballet skirt is optional. Hair MUST be in a 'ballet bun'.

Musical Theatre (ages 9+)
Dress Requirements: Any type of tank top or T-shirt, and type or workout/sweat pants, capris, or shorts. No jeans allowed. Hair must be pulled up and out of the face.
