About CAPIC Child Development Center

At CAPIC Child Development Center, we understand the importance of providing a program that meets the fundamental growth and developmental needs of children who are outside of their homes for a large part of the day. Our program is designed to provide parents and guardians with the assurance that their children are receiving the best possible care while they are away at work. We strive to create a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all of our students that will help strengthen family support systems and benefit the community as a whole. Our program is designed to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. We focus on language, reading, literature, mathematics, science, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, health, art, and music. Our experienced teachers and staff use a variety of activities and materials to create a fun and engaging learning experience for all of our students. At CAPIC Child Development Center, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all of our students. We strive to create a stimulating and nurturing space where children can thrive and develop the skills they need to succeed. We are proud to offer a program that will help parents and guardians maintain full-time employment, strengthen family support systems, and benefit the communities.

Head Start
Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive child and family development program serving low income families with children between the ages of three to five (3-5) years old. Head Start has been operating a successful early childhood program since its inception in 1965. The program is composed of four major components:

After School Program
The CAPIC After School Program offers a safe, nurturing and educationally appropriate environment for school aged children whose parents are working or attending school full time. CAPIC provides programming during the summer months when the public schools are not in session. The Program is a multicultural educational/ recreational program for urban youth between the ages of 5 and 12. The program primarily serves the communities of Chelsea and Revere.
