For horse owners, the CEC is the perfect place to board and take your riding to the next level. With miles of trails and direct access to Ponkapoag Pond, you and your horse can explore the Blue Hills Reservation. The CEC also offers lessons for all ability levels, so you can refine your skills and become a better rider. No horse of your own? Don't worry! The Canton Equestrian Center offers lessons for all ability levels, so you can learn how to ride and explore the Blue Hills Reservation from the saddle. Lesson Program
Riders age 6 and older are invited to join us for mounted english riding instruction in basic riding skills at the walk, trot, and canter as well as jumping. Safety and overall good horsemanship are priorities with our instructors. Grooming and tacking up skills are also incorporated as part of the lessons. Our lesson horses have been selected for their exceptionally good manners, smooth gaits, and forgiving temperaments which make them appropriate for novice riders.
