At The New School of Music, we provide a non-competitive, student-centered learning environment that is designed to foster creativity and a love of music. Our dedicated staff of professional musicians is passionate about teaching and providing an enriching experience for all of our students.
Our comprehensive program includes private and group lessons, master classes, vacation programs, seasonal family events, and faculty and community concerts. Musical Playdates | ages 1-3 with caregiver
Musical Playdates is a music & movement class incorporating singing, dancing, instruments, games, and lots of fun! Children and their caregivers will be introduced to songs they can enjoy together both in class and at home, as well as have the opportunity to engage with other children in a structured but relaxed environment. Join us to start fostering a love for music together!
Piano Playdates | ages 3-4
Piano Playdates is an introductory music class to engage children in musical learning through singing, movement, and playing instruments! Children will be introduced to piano basics, develop their listening skills, and begin learning the language of music. Join us as we have fun and build our love for music together! Caregivers should plan to attend the first class as we establish our class expectations, caregiver attendance will be optional for all remaining classes.
Training Choir | ages 5-8
Singers will be introduced to the fundamentals of choral singing with a focus on building the necessary skills of pitch-matching, listening, and rhythm. *This ensemble does NOT require an audition.
