About Boston Iaido

Eishin Ryu Iaido is a Japanese martial art that focuses on the mastery of the sword. It involves a series of techniques, known as waza, that are designed to simulate various combat scenarios. The main purpose of iaido is to encourage mental discipline, heightened awareness, and physical and mental harmony through the practice and control of body and sword movements. Iaido is not a competitive sport, but rather a traditional art form that has been passed down from teacher to student for centuries. It is the responsibility of each practitioner to learn and practice the techniques correctly to ensure the art form is preserved for future generations.
