About Empow Studios - Brookline STEM Summer Camp

At Empow Studios, we believe that the best way to explore and engage in STEM is to have fun - and we know that kids learn best when they are having fun. Our unique learning environment encourages passion-based learning and engagement, and inspires kids to take an active role in their own learning. Our hands-on activities and interactive play create a playground for kids to explore, discover, and create in a digital, virtual, and robotic environment. We also recognize the importance of social collaboration and self-actualization when it comes to learning. With our specialized programs, kids will be able to build relationships, develop their social awareness, and practice self-expression. Our goal is to provide kids with the tools to navigate future landscapes and be active creators of their own future. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, we are empowering kids to become lifelong learners.

Tech & Design Path
This introductory tech camp is out of this world as campers unleash their creativity and explore a variety of STEM technology. Campers will explore 3D Modeling & Printing, Coding Concepts through Video Game Design, and Stop-Motion Animation. Throughout the week, campers can choose to dig deeper or continue to experiment as they create several space-themed projects, such as a digitally-animated movie, a playable video game, or a 3D print of an original object — all of which they can take home. Add a second week of camp and experience the engineering design process by revisiting your projects and improving your designs!

VACATION CAMP
Explore our most popular program, Tech & Design Exploratory, at our February and April Vacation Camps. It’s for kids who want to explore a wide range of fun technology, find out what options are available, and begin to realize their areas of greatest passion. Campers will have a wide range of options to check out, including Video Game Design, Digital Animation, Stop-Motion Animation, 3D Art & Printing, 3D Architecture, and Coding/Programming Fundamentals. Campers are encouraged to dive into several options over the first few days and then dig deeper in areas that excite them, or continue to explore the wide range of tech choices.

HOLIDAY CAMP
Explore our most popular program, Tech & Design Exploratory, at our One-Day Holiday Camp. It’s for kids with a day off from school who want to explore a wide range of fun technology, find out what options are available, and begin to realize their areas of greatest passion. Holiday campers will have a wide range of options to check out, including Video Game Design, Digital Animation, Stop-Motion Animation, 3D Art & Printing, 3D Architecture, and Coding/Programming Fundamentals. Campers are encouraged to dive into several options and then dig deeper into areas that excite and inspire them. The goal by day’s end is for each camper to have a completed project to show off to friends and family!
