About Brookline Academy of Dance

At Brookline Academy of Dance, we strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for every student. Our goal is to empower each student with respect and tolerance of their world through the art of dance. We provide weekly classes, private lessons, rehearsals, auditions, workshops, and more. We also offer special services such as birthday parties, photo/video shoots, and other events. At Brookline Academy of Dance, we prioritize the development of each student as both a dancer and an individual, with the ultimate goal of fostering a greater understanding of the world around them.

Modern/Contemporary
Modern II will allow dancers to explore and learn about different Modern techniques such as Graham, Limon, Horton, etc. This class will also have a strong focus on musicality, form, technique, expression, and creativity. Dancers will have the opportunity to dive into the use of improvisation in movement. Each class will end with learning a modern based choreographic phrase.
