About The GOLD School Dance Art

For sixty years, The Gold Standard has been at the forefront of dance education. Through partnership with generations of families, they have been dedicated to instilling children with the values of discipline, commitment, a strong work ethic, resilience, and integrity. Within this nurturing space, all dancers, from beginners to advanced, are able to learn and grow. Furthermore, whether or not a child’s future includes a career in dance, TGS provides the necessary building blocks for young people to become successful, confident individuals.

Dance Adventures
Age 18m-2.9 (a class for adult and child) Story-time meets dance class! Each week we go on a new magical dance adventure inspiring natural imagination as we dance along with our favorite stories! This class a great introduction classroom etiquette, movement skills and gross motor skills! *No specific dance wear required

PRE-K CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Age 3 & 4 Song, basic ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling are used to help engage students’ attention and imagination. Students perform one dance routine in our annual recital.

PRE-PRIMARY
Age 5 & 6 Boys and Girls learn the correct disciplines of the ballet barre, ballet positions, body alignment and center floor work. Students develop a sense of rhythm and musicality through the basics of tap dance. As the finishing touch, young dancers are also introduced to the exhilarating world of Jazz Dance. Pre-Primary dancers will perform two dance routines at our annual recital.
