About Tower Hill Botanic Garden
Welcome to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill! Located in Boylston, Massachusetts, we are a nonprofit organization operated on 171 acres by the Worcester County Horticultural Society. One of the oldest of its kind in the country, our mission is to engage you in a life-long passion for growing plants for their ornamental, economic, and ecological value. Our AAM-accredited museum includes an irreplaceable collection of plants and grounds open to the public for garden viewing, trail walking, activities, private events, classes, weddings, exhibitions, and more.

GUIDED FIELD TRIPS
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill offers a wide range of educational programs to engage children of all ages in hands-on, minds-on outdoor learning. From gardens to trails, there is so much to discover in our outdoor classroom. Whether you are a school, youth, or homeschool group, your visit to New England Botanic Garden will be memorable, educational, and fun! All programs are 90 minutes in length and are designed to align with Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering and Next Generation Science curriculum standards. Programs are offered year round, coordinate your visit to align with your yearly curriculum plan.
SCOUT PROGRAMS
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill offers a wide range of badge workshops for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of all levels. From gardens to trails, there is so much to discover in our outdoor classroom. Whether you are a Brownie, Junior, or Webelo, your visit to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill will be memorable, educational, and fun! All workshops are 90 minutes in length and are designed to meet or support badge requirements.
All programs are structured to keep class size small, follow social distancing protocols, and reduce materials shared between participants.
TRAVELING PROGRAMS
Bring the magic of New England Botanic Garden to your classroom, library, or youth organization with one of our traveling programs. Workshops are both educational and fun as students learn, explore, and create with hands-on projects and investigations. Preschool programs are 60-minutes in length and workshops can be adapted to fit a 60 to 90-minute schedule. All programs are led by our experienced Teacher Naturalist staff.
