About South Boston Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

At our dojo, we strive to inspire and empower people through the art of jiu-jitsu. We offer classes seven days a week for all levels of experience, in a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere. Our mission is to make jiu-jitsu accessible to everyone, no matter their age, gender or skill level. We are two passionate individuals who have put their life savings into creating a place where everyone can practice jiu-jitsu. We are dedicated to teaching good technique and cultivating a positive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Our goal is to make the world a better place, one jiu-jitsu move at a time. We believe that jiu-jitsu has the power to transform lives, and we are committed to helping people discover their true potential through the art of jiu-jitsu.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

This class puts a huge emphasis in scrimmage wrestling / ADCC style rules.This class is catered to the highest level in the room, therefor lower belts are expected to try and dissect problems on their own. Class is heavily focused around takedowns, submission systems, and sport/competition tactics and strategies. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! The instructor will take into account the differing levels of students attending and cater to their level; basics, fundamentals or more advanced movements. It is a 1 hr 15min. class
