At Head Start and Early Head Start, we understand that families come in all shapes and sizes and that each family has a unique story. Whether you meet the income guidelines or receive public assistance or other benefits, our programs are available to you. At Head Start and Early Head Start, we believe in strong family engagement. We strive to provide parents with the support they need to help their children reach their full potential. Our family service staff works in partnership with you to help you achieve your goals for your child and to support their learning and healthy development. Through our parent engagement initiatives, you’ll have opportunities to get involved in your child’s education. You’ll be able to volunteer in the classroom, assist in program planning and design, provide feedback, and extend the learning environment into your home. At Head Start and Early Head Start, we’re committed to providing children of all backgrounds with a safe and supportive learning environment. Early Head Start

Early Head Start programs are available from before your child is born until they turn 3. You may qualify for our pregnant women program or our part-day or full-day program.

Head Start programs are available to preschool-age children. If you have a child between 2.9 and 5 years old, you may qualify for either our part-day or full-day program.
