About Bushido Martial Arts Academy

At Bushido Martial Arts Academy, our instructors have over 30 years of experience in traditional karate instruction. We offer fitness and self-defense classes designed to help build confidence, character and discipline. Our curriculum is designed to help you reach your goals while fostering a sense of respect and camaraderie. We have proudly served the communities of Belmont, Cambridge, Lexington, Waltham, Watertown and Newton since 1985. Karate is much more than just a physical activity. It’s an opportunity to learn how to overcome mental and physical challenges, and develop discipline and focus. We provide an environment that is both supportive and challenging, which allows our students to flourish. We focus on respect and discipline, and help nurture a sense of self-confidence that will last a lifetime.

Little Ninjas (4-6)

Enhance your little one’s mental and physical capabilities with a fun, rewarding program. We’ll help sharpen motor function, increase flexibility, and keep your toddler active with our our Program! Our curriculum focuses on providing students with mental stimulation, physical activity, increased coordination, and sharp reflexes so our toddlers can be prepared for wherever life takes them.

Kids Martial Arts (7-12)

We’ve dealt with it all here and believe that the secret to your child’s development is a mix of rewarding physical activity and a focus on instilling essential life lessons. Through psychology, eastern wisdom practiced for generations, and patience, we help kids reach new heights of development.

Teen Martial Arts

We strive to raise our students to new heights in not just martial arts but also in overall health, character, discipline, confidence, development, and socialization. With a focus on character development and inner strength, we encourage children to not only follow your lead, but to also make meaningful, responsible decisions of their own.
