Infants

Infants at Pakachoag Acres grow and develop in a warm and secure environment. Each baby’s program is unique and allows for a balance of active play and rest to match their individual rhythms and interest. Teachers take care to spend special time with each infant: cuddling together for a bottle or a story; playing a game of peek-a-book while diapering; and setting up stimulating experiences for baby’s playtime.

Toddlers

Toddlers by nature are active learners and therefore need plenty of opportunities for “hands on” learning experiences. Toddlers plunge into a discovery of self and environment with the assurance that nurturing adults are present. Toddlers learn to live comfortably with others, to master their feelings and to love life and learning. Through play, your child will experience science, art, music, and movement while developing skills in language and social skills with emerging physical and cognitive competence.

Preschool

Our preschool focuses on bringing out the special gifts and talents of each child. Children are encouraged to participate in multiple activities in language arts, science, math, art, and music. By exposing your child to multiple activities in a secure and supportive environment, your child’s natural curiosity and creativity will be stimulated and encouraged in a positive and safe manner.
