For over two decades, Menotomy Musical Theater has been providing children and young adults in the Arlington area with the opportunity to participate in a high-quality theatrical experience. Founded in 1999, the theater was created to fill a gap in the public school district's elementary theater program. The goal was to create a program that would give aspiring thespians a chance to explore the world of live theater. The theater is dedicated to inspiring and nurturing young artists and audiences through the art of professional musical theater. By providing a safe and creative environment, Menotomy Musical Theater has been able to empower young people to develop their talents and gain confidence. Through a variety of classes, workshops, and performances, the theater has helped countless people gain a deeper appreciation for the performing arts. Menotomy Musical Theater has been a beacon of hope for aspiring actors in the Arlington area for many years. With its dedication to quality and passion for the performing arts, the theater has been able to give students the opportunity to explore their theatrical potential. Summer Camps

At MMT our mission is to teach Life Skills Through Stage Skills. We believe that the discipline of theatre not only gives children a creative outlet but also increases their self-esteem, social skills, problem solving skills, language and speaking skills, team building skills, memorization skills, and empathy for others. At MMT we are passionate about using theatre to enrich the lives of young people and everyone living in our community.
