About Lynn and Jen's Dance Studio

We strive to create an atmosphere of safety and respect, and our instructors emphasize proper technique to ensure each student has the best experience. At our studio, we are passionate about sharing the love of dance with our students of all ages and skill levels. We emphasize proper technique and a safe environment that helps build pride and confidence. We provide our students with a proper technical foundation to explore their interest in dance and grow into skilled dancers. Our instructors are dedicated to creating an atmosphere of safety and respect and providing each student with individual attention and encouragement. Plus, our studio features the best in sound and air systems, such as the Marley and iWave systems, to ensure the best experience possible.

Little Dance Explorers AGE 2-3

Designed to encourage physical, emotional, and cognitive development; our youngest students (along with one parent or caregiver) will be exposed to creative movement, musical instruments, and props while learning classroom etiquette and the basics of dance movement. This class does not perform in the recital. Minimum of 4 students required to hold the class.

Creative Movement AGE 3-4

Designed to introduce and explore creative movement and dance fundamentals; young students will be exposed to the basics of dance vocabulary while developing gross motor skills, muscle control, balance, and body awareness. Class adds tap in January.

Irish Step AGE 7+

Designed to develop excellence in rhythm, fitness, and coordination; students will learn this traditional form of dance known for its strong, upright posture and quick, intricate footwork.

Contemporary/Modern AGE 11-18

Designed to improve versatility, improvisation, and emotional expression; students will learn how to move their bodies expressively as they combine elements of jazz and ballet through floor work, complex footwork, and leaps.

Kick, Turn & Leap Class AGE 12-18

This class is designed to focus on different kinds of kicks, turns and jumps including challenging across the floor and center work. Please contact studio for class placement. This class does not perform in the recital.
