At Dance Place, we offer a wide range of classes for kids aged 2-18, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and lyrical. Our classes are more than just a great way for your child to learn a new skill; they are also a great way for your child to make new friends and have fun! Young Dancers (Ages 2-5)

In Little Feet dancers will explore many ways to move their bodies. They learn basic dance steps and movement skills through storytelling, song & dance, and dancing with fun props such as scarves, ribbons, bean bags and hula hoops.

Rising Stars (Ages 6-9)

Our Rising stars program offers a variety of dance combination classes for dancers to explore styles that interest them. We always encourage dancers to continue their Ballet classes but understand dancers have different interests. We offer the following combos: Ballet * Tap Ballet * Jazz Ballet * Tap * Jazz Ballet * Musical Theater Jazz * Hip Hop Tap * Jazz * Lyrical Tap * Jazz * Modern

Classic Dance Classes (Ages 7 & Up)

Ballet classes are offered from a beginner level to advanced. Students are taught proper body placement, body alignment, barre and center floor work, along with across the floor combinations. Beginner classes introduce vocabulary, proper alignment, and classical ballet technique. Advanced classes include adagio and allegro work, and combinations using balance, strength, and style. In addition Pointe is offered. All students are urged to study ballet, as it is the foundation of all other dance styles and facilitates further success in these disciplines.
