About Pineapple Dance

Pineapple Dance School provides a place where any student can come and learn the art and beauty of dance. Led by Artistic Director Charlotte Doyle, the school has an incredible faculty with a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. They don't just teach the latest trends, but also revive the knowledge of the great teachers and styles from the past. At Pineapple Dance School, students are given the opportunity to compete solely with themselves, while also enjoying the support of their peers and the community. The atmosphere is about fostering excellence, having fun, and learning to respect the art of dance. With a focus on community, inquiry, and improvement, Pineapple Dance School offers something for everyone.

Toddler Camp

Students will be introduced to the fun and artistic expression of dance and movement. This class will be a great outlet for your young mover to express themselves and learn about their body through movement. Children are encouraged to use their imaginations to tell stories and listen to the rhythms their bodies can make.

Let's Dance Camp

Throughout the camp kids will explore and learn styles of jazz, acro, hip hop and contemporary/lyrical. The week will also include strength and conditioning exercises, games, and confidence and social emotional learning mini lessons. Each day will include a craft and time outside weather permitting. Snack and lunch each day.

Teen Boot Camp

This camp will be for those students who want to make plans to stay in shape and progress their technique and skills over the summer. Each student will have an opportunity on the last day to sit with Miss Jen to make a personalized developmental plan. Things covered in the camp: Conditioning/strengthening; Flexibility training; Technique lessons; Picking up choreography; Body/anatomy education; Body recovery/body confidence lessons; Improvisation work.
