In the heart of America, there lies a state known as Kansas, or as our cool imaginary character, Billy Bison, calls it, "The Land of Ahhs." Billy Bison, with his mischievous grin and ever-present hiking boots, is the ultimate adventurer and your guide through this exciting journey. Now, you might be thinking, "Kansas? Isn't that just flat and full of cornfields?" Well, kids, hold onto your hiking hats, because Kansas is much more than meets the eye! With Billy Bison leading the way, you'll discover the hidden treasures tucked away in this prairie state. The kids in Kansas are as adventurous as they come. They're not afraid of a little dirt, they're experts at finding shapes in the clouds, and they have a sixth sense for spotting wildflowers. They are the ultimate hiking squad. To them, Kansas isn't just home; it's one giant playground begging to be explored. They lug their little backpacks stuffed with binoculars, a trail mix, and water bottles, ready to trek through the tall grass prairies of the Flint Hills, scout out hidden caves, or chase the sun as it sets over the colossal rock formations of Monument Rocks. Oh, and they're always ready for a quick game of hide-and-seek among the Sunflowers, the state flower of Kansas. Billy Bison teaches these Kansas kids the importance of respecting nature, having a good laugh, and making every hike an unforgettable adventure. Whether they’re playfully pretending to be prairie dogs popping out of burrows or trying to outdo each other in who can spot the most bison, their laughter and exhilaration echo over the plains and valleys of Kansas. So, grab your hiking boots, kids! There's a whole lot of fun waiting for you in Kansas, Billy Bison's favorite stomping ground.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

Tallgrass Christian Camp is an incredible opportunity for young people to connect with God and each other. At this one-week camp, campers are encouraged to dive into quality class time, singing, group games, activities, crafts, and evening campfire devotionals, allowing them to form meaningful relationships with God and their peers. This is a great opportunity for children to learn how to serve and grow closer to one another, as they create lasting friendships. Through Tallgrass Christian Camp, the next generation of church leaders can prepare for a future of service and community.
