About Actors Training Center in Wilmette, IL
Since 2007, the Actors Training Center has been serving the greater Chicagoland area and we are proud to have been honored by the Illinois Theatre Association with their 2019 Award of Honor. ATC is a launching pad for actors of all ages who want to make a career in the performing arts, be it in film, television, or on the stage. Our passionate and dedicated staff are committed to helping our students to reach their full potential and to use their art to make a positive difference. We are proud of the work that the Actors Training Center has done since 2007, and are honored to have been recognized by the Illinois Theatre Association with their Award of Honor. Our program offers young actors the opportunity to hone their craft and to use their talents to make a positive impact in the world.

BeAKid
Littles Stage & Screen
A brand new class created for our youngest ATC students who need a healthy balance of imaginative play and core acting techniques coupled with our nationally recognized on-camera training! This class provides a fun and safe environment for our littlest actors to tackle both stage and screen with confidence.
BeAKid
Triple Threat
Whether you have a budding star or someone who is working on coming out of their shell, our Triple Threat class combines singing, dancing, and acting each week to help students gain skill and confidence in musical theatre performance. Throughout the course of the 7 weeks, students will work on a variety of scenes and songs as well as group performance numbers from one favorite Broadway show. Friends and family will be invited on the last day of class to see a showcase of the student’s work.

Youth On Camera (Level 1)
On camera acting can be a challenge for the young actor whose instinct is to “show” instead of “tell” when what casting is looking for is for actors to bring their authentic self to the work. ATC gives a practical approach that will help students gain the confidence to say, “I am enough.” Train in our professional studio, getting in front of the camera each week with commercial and film/TV copy and receive adjustments and notes after watching playback.
