Its mission was and still is to provide the very best parks and recreation experiences to the community while being safe and fiscally responsible. The Lemont Park District Preschool is a balanced program where your child will grow and learn in a cheerful, nurturing, and stimulating environment that emphasizes a love for learning.

PRESCHOOL PLUS

Expand your child’s learning and development at the Lemont Park District with “Preschool Plus.” Your child will experience an extended curriculum including art, music, science, and computers as well as indoor and outdoor activities. Students that enroll in our 3-year-old, 2-day program will have the opportunity to add a Friday to their week. Students who enroll in our 4-year-old and Finally 5’s programs will have the opportunity to add Tuesday and Thursday to make a 5-day preschool week.

PRESCHOOL ENRICHMENT

The Preschool Enrichment Program is available to students currently enrolled in the Lemont Park District’s 4-Year-Old and Finally Fives preschool program. Students will attend their regular preschool program during the morning – Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. These students can extend their preschool experience until 2:30 p.m. Students who enroll in the Enrichment Program will experience a balance of Illinois CORE standards of education in literacy, math and science along with drama, music, science and creative movement. Students enrolled in the Preschool Enrichment program will have a 30-minute supervised lunch between their a.m. and p.m. programs.
