About Kankakee Valley Theatre Association

At KVTA, we understand the importance of our community’s cultural resources. We strive to achieve excellence in all of our productions. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the generous support of our volunteers and the local community. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work from our volunteers to produce each show. Throughout the production season we perform five regular season shows and frequently put on a summer production or theatre camp for the local youth. We are so grateful for the help and support of our volunteers and community members who make KVTA’s productions possible. We are proud to be a part of the vibrant and thriving culture of our community.

Broadway Junior
Every camper will be a part of this musical revue which is inspired by and features songs from Broadway Junior favorites such as Shrek, Annie, Willy Wonka, Frozen, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, and many more. We're looking for campers, interns, and volunteers to join our theatre family and have a fabulous theatre camp experience. We will be putting on a fun show with choreography, group numbers, and even some solo/small ensemble opportunities as well as learning theatre skills. Space is limited to 25 campers in each time slot, 9 am-12 pm or 1 pm-4 pm, so be sure to sign up today! We are so excited to work with our talented youth once again!
