At BAM, we are dedicated to giving young performers the opportunity to gain professional training and education in the performing arts. Our programs strive to cultivate young artists who are creative, passionate, and dedicated to making the world a better place. From preschool to college, students can discover the empowerment and personal growth that come from theatre education. Our extensive seasonal programming, including our celebrated Summer Mainstage, Broadway Workshop Series, and Broadway Kids program, provide top-notch theatre instruction to over a thousand actors each year. We also offer After School Enrichment & School Residencies at various schools throughout the Chicagoland area. YOUTH THEATRE SUMMER MAINSTAGE
The Youth Theatre Summer Mainstage offers a full scale production experience designed for students of all abilities who are interested in furthering their musical theatre knowledge and gaining performance experience. Auditions typically are held in May - all are accepted into the program! Rehearsals typically begin early or mid-July, with performances the first or second weekend of August.

Broadway Kids & Minis
Broadway Kids is a fun-filled musical theatre program for kids in Grades 2 - 8 who just love to be onstage! A happy medium between BAM’s celebrated “Broadway Workshop Series” and “Youth Theatre” summer programs, students will meet over several weeks to study the fundamentals of musical theatre performance and also rehearse a junior length musical production! Broadway Kids meets on Saturday afternoons and select weekday evenings. The program produces one full-scale musical in the fall, and one musical in the spring!

Broadway Tots (Ages 0 - 5) SUMMER CAMPS
Broadway Tots is the opportunity to invite creative play, music, and story-time into your child's day! This all-new program, designed for ages 0 - 5, will incorporate singing, dancing, crafts, story-time, and more! Every day, students will learn the foundational practices for musical theatre: singing, creative expression, and dance, while also sprinkling in some fun games, crafts, and other activities! Parents are asked to accompany children ages 0 - 2. For children ages 3 - 5, parents are welcome to join in the fun, stay and watch, or let their tot attend class on their own, depending on their preference. This is the perfect beginning for our youngest students to fall in love with theatre and performing arts!
