About City Kid Theatre Company

At the heart of it, theatre is a beautiful art form that has the ability to bring us together in a way that nothing else can. It is a powerful tool of communication, that can transport us to a different time and place, and can even teach us lessons about life. As the great Augustin Daly once wrote, “Theatre is the science of human beings in action, the art of representing humanity in its varied emotions and phases.” Throughout my life, I have been inspired by the messages of Mr. Daly, and continue to be amazed by the power of theatre to bring people together. From the very young to the very old, theatre has a way of uniting us all through laughter, tears, music, and stories. It is an amazing way to learn about the past, present, and future, and to develop a sense of self-confidence and a true appreciation of the value of each individual.

Spring Break Theatre Camps
​Dates: March 27th - March 31st, 2023 ​Morning Camp: 9:30 -12:00 pm ($255) Afternoon Camp: 12:30 - 3:00 pm ($255) ​Full Day Camp: 9:30 - 3:00 pm ($480) ​Show performance on the last day of camp!

Summer Camp
City Kid Theatre offers 1 week camps for children ages 3-12. Students will learn the basics of acting, choreography, and collaborative story development as they work together to create performances for friends and family. Participating in City Kid Theatre camps nurtures creativity and builds self confidence while learning to be a part of a team - "a castmate"; to cooperate, coordinate and produce a dynamic production together! All camps will conclude with a show performance on the final day of camp.

Panda & Me Classes
Come have fun and do some yoga with your baby or toddler. We'll sing songs, read stories, and do some poses.
