About Glencoe School of Music

At the Glencoe Academy of Music, we are proud to provide private music instruction to kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels. Our faculty are patient, experienced educators who are also professional musicians graduated from acclaimed music institutes such as The Juilliard School, The Peabody Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and The Manhattan School of Music, Jacobs School of Music, and The University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music to name a few. Our instructors offer lessons in-person, online, and hybrid, and are located at 336 Park Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022. We value the safety and health of our Glencoe Academy of Music community and, with that in mind, require all persons who are feeling sick or have had contact with someone carrying Covid 19 to NOT enter the premises. Masks are no longer required for all persons until official guidelines change. To ensure safety, medical grade air purifiers are located in each room. At the Glencoe Academy of Music, our instructors welcome kids, teens and adults of any skill level and will get you playing, whatever your style or interest. With our experienced and patient educators, we guarantee you an excellent music education experience.

PRIVATE LESSONS

We offer experienced instruction in person and online for Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Bass, Voice, Musical Theater, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Harmonica, Drums, Percussion, Songwriting, Electronic Music Production, Composition, Rock Band Coaching, and Recording. We also have band rehearsals, performances, intensives, special projects, recording sessions and more at the academy. It’s our mission to get you playing!

SUMMER PROGRAMS

Our popular summer ten packs offer flexible lesson scheduling based on your and your instructor’s availability. Will you be out of town or unavailable for some of the summer? We have you covered with this option that can even include multiple lessons each week (Boost Style). Keep that positive momentum going over the summer, or turbo-charge your playing on a schedule that works for you! Summer Ten Packs are equal to five total lesson hours.

ONLINE AND HYBRID

Jumpstart your playing, learn or master a specific song or piece of music, or re-introduce yourself to the enjoyment of playing an instrument you've always wanted to play. Let the passion, experience, and patience of our professionals be your guide.
