Learn-to-Swim Group Lessons
Swim lessons are a great way to increase your child’s confidence while setting the foundation for a healthy lifelong hobby. All Learn-to-Swim lessons are taught under the philosophy of the American Red Cross, and our instructors follow the recommendations of the American Red Cross in their teachings. Each level introduces a challenging variety of activities for the student to help them progress in their swimming abilitie
Centre of Elgin Youth Dance Program
The Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Integrity School of Dance for our youth dance programming at the Centre of Elgin. Integrity School of Dance of Elgin is owned and operated by Elisabeth McCoy and Kelly Hill. This local studio has a love for children, dance and for providing a safe atmosphere that inspires student to excel through the grace of dance. Our recital is a special time for your dancer to showcase their accomplishments on stage! This show is sure to be entertaining and will also include Integrity’s company dancers.
Early Childhood Programs
We offer a variety of programs for families with children under the age of 5 years old here at the Centre! We are constantly looking at new programs and activities for families to participate and make memories. Some of these great programs are Kid Rock Family, Fri-Yay Funday Workshops and Book-a-Palooza! These programs are held in sessions that are held various times throughout the year that encourage children and a family member/caregiver the opportunity to learn, play and grow.
