At Lee's Martial Arts Academy, we believe in physical fitness, character development, and self-defense. Our primary focus is to build up our students' self-esteem and confidence in a safe and encouraging environment. Taekwondo, the martial art we specialize in, helps children and adults alike to build confidence, concentration, self-discipline, respect, and courtesy. We provide classes for all levels of ability from beginner to advanced, and families can attend classes together or children and adults can attend classes within their age groups. We want to ensure that our students reach their individual goals, no matter their age or athletic abilities. We strive to create an environment of understanding and respect for all of our students, while teaching them the importance of physical fitness and self-defense. BeAKid
Pee Wee Class AGES 3-6
Our Pee Wee classes are specialized for toddlers that are transitioning into preschool and kindergarten. As their biological and psychological changes are developing, we facilitate this transition in a safe and positive environment. They will practice respect and discipline in a friendly atmosphere where they can develop positive self-image, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Autonomy is enhanced through our methods of positive reinforcement for discipline.

Kids Class AGES 7+
Kid’s classes are designed with safety first. We have helpful, trained instructors that enable our young students to feel comfortable learning and practicing. Each student will learn the importance of teamwork and respect. The children participate in guided and independent training during class. Developing characteristics that may lead the student to be more disciplined and confident. We emphasize the fun in “fun”damentals which is one reason why we have been here for over 16 years teaching Tae Kwon Do, the world's most practiced martial art.

Family Classes Age 7-up
Not many sports can have parents and their children participate in the same activity together. Family tae kwon do is an ideal way for the whole family to work together, stay in shape together, set goals together, and gain confidence together. This is an opportunity for parents and their children to spend time together participating in a physical activity where size does not necessarily matter. The instructors work with all levels of physical skills and can create an enjoyable atmosphere for each person in the family. Our experience with our families indicates that they have better communication and listening skills. Our parents reinforce the lessons, values, discipline and importance of respect at home. We encourage families to practice and train together because each member of the family motivates each other, can appreciate the talents of each other, and of course. After all, kids love doing things with their moms and dads.
