At Hubbard Street Dance, we are always looking for ways to inspire and innovate. This year, we proudly present our first-ever virtual season of dance films. A stellar lineup of acclaimed and emerging choreographers, all of whom are former Hubbard Street dancers, have created contemporary dance that reflects our current moment with incredible power. Street’s Adaptive Dance Programs
While all of our classes are inclusive, we recognize that some dancers need additional assistance to reach their full potential. Hubbard Street’s Adaptive Dance Programs support the needs of all students. Using dance-specific visual supports, students explore dance technique and the choreographic process using developmentally appropriate methods.

DANCE EDUCATION
It’s learning to collaborate, to retain new information and connect it to experience. It’s social justice. It’s text to self, and text to text, and text to world. It's social emotional learning. Classrooms that include dance set students up for success. For more than twenty years, our in-school dance residency programs have transformed classrooms into living laboratories of movement and learning. Each residency is rooted in a single essential question that brings context and focus to learning. Enduring understandings take what is learned and experienced from the classroom into students’ lives.

TEEN INTENSIVE
For pre-professional dancers ages 13 - 17. Dancers will attend daily technique classes, with additional training in Horton, Jazz, Contemporary, Improvisation, Floorwork, Tap, African, Hip-Hop, and Somatics. Dancers will learn repertory excerpts, including current works from Hubbard Street's Season 45 repertoire.
