About Bourbonnais Township Park District

The BTPD is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in the community through recreation, education, and preservation. Our mission is to provide families with a variety of recreational opportunities and activities. As a Park District, we are responsible for preserving open space, developing parks, and providing recreational programs for people of all ages. The BTPD offers four facilities to the community, including Recreation Station, Exploration Station, a children’s museum, and Willowhaven Park & Nature Center. We also have four parks, Perry Farm Park, Diamond Point Park, Willowhaven Park & Nature Center, and Turnberry Park. Every park offers a unique and exciting atmosphere where families can come together and enjoy time together. The BTPD is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for people of all ages. We strive to ensure that all of our parks and facilities are well maintained and offer a wide range of recreational activities. Through our recreational programs, educational opportunities, and preservation efforts, we aim to make the BTPD a place where families can come together and make memories that last a lifetime.

Early Childhood
We offer a range of Early Childhood programs that meet the needs of each child. We provide children with an engaging environment where they can socialize, learn, and have fun. There is plenty of opportunity to prepare your child for kindergarten or introduce them to a new social experience.

Before & After School
Before & After School programs are designed to give students from Bourbonnais, Bradley, and Schools a place to go before and after school. Children will experience supervised activities, free play, crafts, homework time & assistance, and a snack. Transportation to and from the child's school is provided. There will be no registrations taken at the door.

BTPD Summer Day Camp
Give your child a memorable summer by enrolling them in BTPD Summer Camp! Daily activities and field trips will be planned by caring and experienced staff. Campers will develop skills and knowledge in leisure activities including sports, arts & crafts, games and nature. They will develop social skills and assist in the development of a positive self-image. The overall goal is to have kids interact, learn and grow from these engaging hands-on experiences.
