About South Florida Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach, FL

The Science Center is the largest provider of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in Palm Beach County and is committed to inspiring students with innovative and engaging experiences. We are proud to be a part of the community, providing meaningful opportunities to learn and explore, and inspiring the next generation of science leaders. At the Science Center, our goal is to offer a unique and exciting learning experience with the latest in science programming and tech ventures. Our renovations have allowed us to provide more hands-on exhibits, a modernized theater and a new science laboratory. We've also added an 18-hole miniature golf Conservation Course, designed by local legends Gary Nicklaus and Jim Fazio. Our commitment to inspiring students with innovative and engaging experiences has enabled us to serve over 300,000 students, teachers and visitors annually, including 130,000 through field trips and educational outreach into schools and classrooms. We strive to provide meaningful opportunities to learn and explore, and to open every mind to science. Since 1961, the Science Center has been serving Palm Beach County with its mission to “Open Every Mind to Science”. We are proud to be a part of the community, and to offer our world-class science programming and tech ventures to the next generation of scientists and engineers. Our unique and exciting learning experience is sure to make a lasting impression on our visitors of all ages.
