Parents will be delighted to learn about the Actor's Workshop & Repertory Company (Actor's Rep), launched in May of 1980. Located in downtown West Palm Beach, this 99-seat theatre-in-the-round offers a variety of entertaining and educational programming. From avant-garde plays to seldom performed classics, the Rep has something for everyone. Best of all, their productions contain subject matters that are often too risky for other theaters. This selection has been so well-received that subscribers from Fort Pierce to Key West have come to expect excellence from the Rep.

BeAKid
Bak Theatre Audition Prep
This 5 week Prep class will cover all aspects of the Bak Theatre Audition. Students will know what to expect at the audition, know how scoring works and learn skills for a strong audition. This class will be capped at 16 students.
BeAKid
Acting for the Camera: Youth
This 8-week class for children will take an in-depth look at the process and skills needed for auditioning for film, TV, and commercials. Students will receive audition sides & cold reads weekly to present in class for feedback. Scenes, monologues, working with a reader and self-tapes will also be covered. This class is open to all levels.

Improv Drop-In Class for BIPOC
This free on-going weekly improv drop-in is open to BIPOC of all levels. Whether you have no experience at all or have been improvising for years, this improv class is for you. In an effort to grow diversity at our theatre and in the theatre/improv community in general, we are currently only offering this class to Indigenous people, Black people and People of color. (BIPOC.) Improvisers are storytellers and who is telling the stories matters. Despite the best of intentions, the improv scene in the south Florida community is overwhelmingly white and we’re doing our part to change that. Come play! This will be a fun, safe and playful environment. Hope to see you there!
