About Vosler Young Artists' Studio

At our school, we recognize the importance of training young artists in the craft of drawing. Our program provides students with a comprehensive body of knowledge and fundamental skills by the time they reach eighteen years of age. It is our mission to equip our students with the tools they need to take their artistic abilities to the next level. We understand that drawing is the foundation of all art forms, from sculpture to industrial design to painting to animation. That's why we focus on teaching our students the classics. We believe in the saying that Walt Disney once said: “Go outside and draw from life”. We instill this principle into our lessons, ensuring that our students come away with the trained eye of a professional artist.

Core Program
Students pay a monthly flat rate due the first day of each month. If students need to miss a class or classes the fee is not refundable. The Atelier price includes a yearly student exhibition in our atelier and gallery. All start up supplies for the drawing phase of instruction. Master instruction and special events that relate to our Atelier program. Students work from the Charles Barque drawing program under the guidance of the instructor. Students work in the classical tradition to learn to draw the human head & figure, still life and from casts. Throughout the year students will meet for a dedicated block of time at the Vosler Young Artists's Studio.

Teen Summer Workshops 2023
All Teen Summer Workshops will be on-site in our large spacious studio for 2022. 330 Pauls Drive, Brandon, Florida 33511 (10 min drive from South Tampa) Brandon Florida Instructors: Kerry Vosler Assistant Instructor: Mikaela Parrish

SPRING BREAK
This will be a in studio workshop by reservation. Students will learn to compose, orchestrate values, and create realistic depth in their drawings. Students will have a finished portfolio drawing by the end of the workshop and receive a certificate of completion for their curriculum vitae. A CV is an artists' resume it is Latin for "Course of Life". More detailed information one week prior to workshop.

Field Trips & Special Events
The Vosler Young Artists' Studio schedules field trips to artists' studios, museums and other special events several times a year. Students are advised in advance of dates.
