Piano Lessons

Here at Tampa Music School, we celebrate the uniqueness of each of our students. We understand that growth and ability come at different speeds. While it is true that everyone must begin at square one, our amazing teachers will help you to grow musically in whichever direction you desire. Our staff is knowledgeable in many different keyboarding styles, such as classical, soul, jazz, pop and sacred. This experience makes lesson time an exciting vehicle for personal interpretation and creative growth. Even though we strive for a creative, student-led teaching approach, we do also require study in the basic aspects of music notation and production.

Violin & Viola Lessons

Mastering the violin or viola can be a somewhat technical adventure. Unlike many other instruments, there are no automatic true pitches to be had. The true pitch must be accomplished by the student’s ear and fingers alone. Violin lessons as well as viola lessons require more of a complete body awareness than any other instrument. This awareness is taught not in a high-pressure way but in a calm and reassuring way meant to foster feelings of confidence and safety. To achieve eventual mastery and freedom of performance, it is vital to be a good student of music in a general sense.

Voice Lessons

Here at Tampa music school, we view voice lesson time as a partnership activity. While your instructor likely possesses more musical experience, it is their desire to listen and to nurture your personal musical expression. A qualified voice teacher knows what to listen for and can often spot unhealthy habits that will save you from damage in the long term.
