Tampa Muay Thai has developed a unique program and an alternative to traditional martial arts classes for kids and teens in the Tampa Bay area. At our headquarters located in downtown Tampa, kids spend less time rehearsing traditional techniques that often create bad habits and prove impractical in real-life situations. Instead, our young students spend more time focused on developing skills for self-defense and sport martial arts in a non-aggressive and non-intimidating environment. Our Kids’ Muay Thai program is designed to instill a well-rounded martial art skill set with emphasis on lifelong values of self-confidence, self-discipline, respect, and mental focus. We also introduce kids to an active, healthy lifestyle that builds character, self-esteem, self-control, and the interpersonal skills necessary for peaceful conflict resolution.
