For over a decade, we've been teaching students the fundamentals of playing guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and keys. But our program doesn't stop there - students have the opportunity to use their new skills to perform live on real stages, in front of real crowds.
School of Rock is more than just a place to learn music - it's a place to develop lifelong skills. We are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and gain confidence in their own abilities. Through our unique performance-based approach, students learn more than just how to play an instrument; they learn how to work together, think on their feet, and gain the self-assurance that comes with performing in front of an audience. We are proud to provide an environment where students can really thrive.
Little Wing is School of Rock's music program designed for our youngest students (mainly 3 to 5-year-olds). This music program for toddlers and preschoolers features a special curriculum where students play games and participate in other interactive activities to help them internalize the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Little Wing students have one weekly group lesson in which they use classic rock songs to learn about rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics through play.

Rookies
Rookies is a music program designed for children (typically 6 to 7-year-olds) with no previous musical experience. As with all our music programs, Rookies adheres to the patented School of Rock Method. Our Method's core philosophy is that performance-based music education is the best way for students to gain musical proficiency. Rookies students have one weekly group music lesson where they learn music fundamentals like chords, rhythm and song structure. Kids get to learn and experiment with multiple instruments so they are then able to decide which one they ultimately want to continue pursuing in Rock 101.

SONGWRITING
Creating original songs can be one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences for musicians. School of Rock’s Songwriting Program teaches the fundamentals of songwriting, arrangement and music theory, and helps students compose original works. Students have one weekly private lesson on an instrument of their choice where they learn concepts, technique and theory. These principles are then applied in weekly group lessons where students work together on songwriting exercises and lyrical workshops. Every few months, Songwriting Program students take the stage to perform or band together to record their original songs.
