Little Samurai

Our Little Samurai Class is for kids 4 through 6 years old. This is a 30-minute class, tuned specifically for the shorter attention span these little ones typically have at this young age. They'll still learn traditional Japanese karate but we try to disguise the hard work with extra fun activities like Sensei Says, Ninja Ninja Turtle, Scatter and other fun games that are great for developing focus, improving listening skills, building coordination and balance.

Kids Karate

The Kids Karate Class is for kids ages 7 through 12. This is a high-energy 45-minute class targeted at not only building strength and developing better physical fitness but also gets kids involved in healthy activity for both mind and body. The kids will learn about respect, discipline, honor, commitment, dedication, perseverance, and hard work. They'll learn to work hard in order to achieve their goals. And they'll have fun while doing it!

Teen & Adult Karate

This class is for teens and adults. These classes are 60 minutes of traditional karate training. The class starts with a cardiovascular type of warm up for about 10 minutes then focuses on karate techniques, kata, sparring drills, ippon kumite, etc. Techniques are explained and discussed as well as applied. And you can be assured, safety comes first! We love to train hard and sweat but we also train safely and intelligently! We have all ages of adults in these classes. All classes are taught by experienced adult instructors. Be ready to get moving, break a sweat and challenge yourself to your own individual limits as you learn the as much about self-defense as you do about culture and history of the Japanese martial art of karate.
