About Kengo C.M.A. Karate & Jujitsu in Punta Gorda, FL
Kengo Christian Martial Arts Ministry and System is a unique combination of martial arts and Christian principles. Led by Shihan Ed, this program offers a wide range of instruction that has been developed over many years. The name Kengo reflects the aims of the program: to be strong, firm, and wise in protecting the practice of Christian martial arts. Shihan Ed places great emphasis on the value of a certificate of rank. He believes that a certificate should always be earned through hard work and dedication, and should only be awarded to those who have achieved their goals. This ensures that the certificate is meaningful and fairly reflects the progress of each student.

BeAKid
Youth Martial Arts
In the Traditional Karate and Jujitsu Youth classes the students learn to develop and execute all the techniques they need to build and continue their foundation while moving up in rank. This class is a personalized setting. The students get personal attention while learning more difficult techniques. The students are able to concentrate on learning more advanced moves. They get to learn and practice advanced takedowns, pins, knife fighting, stick fighting and other weapons, home self-defense and other specialized training. In order to participate you do not need to be a current student at Kengo CMA Karate and Jujitsu.
