About West Oaks Library & Genealogy Center

. Located in the historic city of Ocoee near the intersection of Silver Star and Clark Roads, the Branch opened in August 2001. The Harvard, Jolly, Clees, Toppe Architecture Firm designed the building, and today it offers excellent library services to the nearly 50,000 residents of Ocoee and surrounding areas. In January 2015, the West Oaks Branch was opened as the new Genealogy Center for Orange County. The Center houses a remarkable collection of over 30,000 genealogy books, making the Library the official repository of the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The facility provides an invaluable resource for anyone interested in learning more about their family history. The West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center is one of the most treasured locations in the historic city of Ocoee. The building provides an oasis of knowledge and resources to the nearly 50,000 residents of Ocoee and surrounding areas. Storybook Fun
Designed especially for preschoolers, Storybook Fun lasts approximately 25 minutes. Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in any class or event due to a disability may arrange for accommodations by contacting the location at which the event is held at least seven days prior to the event.

Sewing Scrappy Fall Pumpkin
Break out your scraps to create a colorful pumpkin! We'll be using quilting techniques, a gathering stitch, and lastly hand sewing to seal up our project.
