About Suzuki Music Institute of Central Florida

For the last 41 years, the Suzuki Music Institute of Central Florida has been dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to develop their musical talents. Founded by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki Method focuses on the concept that every child is capable of learning music and that, with the right environment, each student can reach their full potential. At the Institute, students are provided with a nurturing, supportive environment, and opportunities to perform and hone their craft. The Suzuki Music Institute of Central Florida has been enriching the lives of students for over four decades. They strive to create an environment for children of all ages that is both supportive and challenging. Through the practice of Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy, the Institute is dedicated to providing an environment that allows each student to reach their fullest potential in the areas of piano and string performance.

Violin Lessons
Highly regarded, Tina is certified by the Suzuki Association of the Americas to teach the Suzuki violin method through Book 9. Additionally, she participated in master classes with Dr. Suzuki, the founder of the Suzuki Method. She is a graduate of the esteemed Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY) and the New England Conservatory of Music (Boston, MA). A performer with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Bach Festival of Florida, Florida Lyric Opera and Disney Epcot, she plays violin and piano duos with her husband regularly throughout the United States.

Piano Lessons
We believe in the development of the whole child. We integrate ear training, technique, note reading and performance into our teaching. Through encouragement and discipline, we bring out the best in each student. Ultimately, our goal is to develop the lifelong appreciation of music in addition to performance excellence.
