    About Wekiva Golf Club in Longwood, FL

    Wekiva Golf Club first opened its doors in 1972 and is now one of the most established courses in Central Florida. It has become popular due to its excellent design, course conditions, and its desirable location within a populated residential community. On September 29th, 2012 Wekiva re-opened their newly constructed greens with Champions Bermuda, a smooth and quick putting grass. This semi-private, 18-hole course is 6,850 yards and a par 72. It features well-bunkered fairways, rolling greens, and strategic placement of over 80 bunkers. Water comes into play on three of the holes, making it a challenging course for all levels of golfers. With its straight-forward layout, beautiful oaks, mature pines, and palms, Wekiva Golf Club makes for a memorable experience.

    GROW Program

    Our GROW Program is focused on building from the ground up. It is intended for our youngest beginners, generally those ages 3 to 8. We work on all aspects of the game, starting on the putting green and working up to the full swing. We may be teaching golf skills, but the game inherently also teaches things like integrity, honesty, friendship, manors, determination, perseverance, motor skills and countless other virtues and lessons that any parent would find important. Plus, it’s a lot of FUN!

    Junior Golf Camp

    -Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals. -Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities). -A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind. -Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

    -Clinics are 1 hour sessions, for all youth, ages 3-18, with special needs. -Each clinic will max out at 20 participants and online registration is necessary to take part.
