At Davis Allstars, we are dedicated to helping young athletes reach their potential and develop life-long skills. Our programs are tailored to the individual needs of each athlete, and our experienced coaching staff is committed to providing a positive, safe and encouraging environment that is focused on teaching solid fundamentals in tumbling and all-star competition and school cheer. We are passionate about helping young athletes in the greater Jacksonville area find success on the competition floor and in their future endeavors. Our goal is to create a learning culture that encourages and rewards hard work, respect for self and others, and the development of character and confidence. We strive to help each athlete reach their individual potential and develop life-long skills.

FUNDAMENTAL TUMBLING

In this class, the focus is core fundamentals and building the strength needed to complete the skills for both recreational and competitive athletes. The curriculum for these athletes to master are the following: back walkover, front walkover, standing and running backhand spring series, combination series front/back walkover to back hand spring, introduction to tuck drills.

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING

In this class, your athlete will be working on more challenging series of combination tumbling. The curriculum for these athletes to master are the following: back extension rolls, standing tuck, combine round off back handspring to a tuck, punch front to round-off back handspring tuck, introduction of layout drills, and mastering layouts.

ADVANCED TUMBLING

In this class, your athlete will be introduced to specialty tumbling skills and learning to twist in the air while flipping. The curriculum for these athletes to master are the following: whips, punch front Arabians, layout steps outs, introduction of full drills, and mastery of a full.

COMPETITIVE CHEER

Davis Allstar Gym offers 6 levels of competitive cheer: Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior and Senior, which practice year-round. We offer free trial classes for both tumbling and cheer. For anyone not a member of one of the Cheer Squads MUST be fill out a waiver in order to participate in any Davis Allstar Gym functions, such as Birthday Parties & Open Gym.
