About Camp Gan Israel - Orlando

At Gan Israel, our signature programs and activities provide an unforgettable summer experience for our campers. From sports to arts and crafts, there's something to delight every camper. We offer an extensive range of field trips, special events, and activities that bring out the best in our campers. Our CIT program is designed to provide a fun and rewarding experience for our older campers. Teens have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. Through our engaging activities and trips, our CITs are able to make a positive impact in their own lives and the lives of others. Gan Israel is the premier Jewish day camp with a well-earned reputation as a trendsetter in innovative ideas, creative programs and new activities. Our campers enjoy a wide range of exciting activities and field trips in a warm and vivacious atmosphere. From Kiddie Kamp (3 yr. olds) to our CIT division (up to 15 yr. olds), campers are sure to make lasting memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Story Theater Workshop
Educational workshops use theater as a tool for social change. Through ensemble building games, movement exercises, and improvisation, participants learn to express their joy and air their grievances creatively. The children will develop stories into short plays. Each age group will produce a short play and present it at a grand finale.

Bongo Drumming
An interactive drumming workshop that touches upon diversity, history and the arts. Students learn traditional Afro-Caribbean dance pieces and the program culminated in a program where the students are able to showcase their skills.

Sports & Athletics
At Gan Israel, campers participate in various sports activities, receive expert coaching and enjoy a wide array of recreational activities. Our sports coaches are professional physical education instructors who teach with patience, guidance and encouragement. New this summer will be unique skill-building instructions in soccer and basketball.
