In 2018 we moved to a much larger facility just off of I-72. We are now in a 20,000 sq ft building that has everything we need to host an amazing competition season. We've grown from three athletes in 2012 to over 200 in 2020. It all began in 2012 at a small gym in Auburn, Illinois. Three athletes started the competition season at the aptly-named Small Gym, Big Heart. As the program grew, the gym was upgraded to a larger, more efficient space on the south side of Springfield. However, the parking lot was unable to accommodate the increasing number of participants. Eventually, in 2018, Small Gym, Big Heart moved to a much larger facility off I-72. The facility is now 20,000 square feet, providing all the necessary accommodations to host a successful competition season. In the eight years since its inception, Small Gym, Big Heart has grown from three athletes in 2012 to over 200 in 2020.
