About Tinkergarten

Tinkergarten helps families make the most of their children’s early learning years by getting them out into nature. It is an education program designed by experts and loved by all families. Our play-based outdoor curriculum is designed to help parents raise healthy, confident, and capable kids. Tinkergarten allows families to make the most of outdoor play, with weekly live sessions, an at-home curriculum and a helpful community of other parents. This easy to use program helps families create lasting memories and teaches kids important skills, while having fun outdoors. Tinkergarten makes outdoor play doable for all families, with a comprehensive program that is both fun and educative. It brings together experts, parents, and children for an adventure in the great outdoors, and the result is a more confident, capable, and healthy next generation.

Roots

"There are two lasting bequests we can give our children. One of them is roots and the other is wings." In our Roots unit, we focus on setting goals for healthy time outdoors, connecting to the earth, moving our bodies, and learning a new mindful breath and movement exercise each week.

In our Wings unit, we explore risk taking, embracing change and learning to cope with both our successes and our challenges.

Connections

Our Connections unit rounds out the season, reminding us that our hearts are supported when we feel gratitude and strong connection to family, friends, community and our planet. In class, we also prepare homemade lanterns for our 10th annual Lantern Walk—a beloved chance to come together to embrace the change in seasons.
